Peace Retreat is a unique retreat center that combines the luxury and relaxation of a spa experience with the power of indigenous led healing ceremony surrounded by the beautiful Costa Rican coastal jungle and beach. 

• Daily Yoga & Mindfulness:

  Guests will be led through various mindfulness modalities that cultivate peace. Surrounded by nature and a supportive community, participants will foster a deeper connection to self and spirit.

• Three Delicious Vegetarian & Vegan Meals Daily:

  Guests will enjoy three home made meals a day. Peace Retreat prioritizes guests’ heath, preserving the environment, and supporting the local economy and culture. As such, they are committed to buying local, organic, and in-season produce and animal products. They avoid buying imported foods to minimize their carbon footprint, avoid processed foods, and support local farmers.

• Time in Nature:

  Costa Rica is known as one of the most biodiverse place on Earth because of the density and diversity of plants and animals that live in the country. From your bungalow window you will be able to see monkeys, walk fifteen minutes to the beach, and see beautiful flora and fauna all around.

• Transportation To & From Airport

  The closest airport to Peace Retreat is the Liberia International Airport (LIR). The drive time from the airport to Peace Retreat Centre is between 60 and 75-minutes. The majority of the trip is on paved roads until the last approximately 5-miles where it turns to gravel. The drive is easy and a great way to see the stunning landscape of the province of Guanacaste.

• Optional Add Ons

  Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP): Explore the river and mangroves in Guanacaste. Beginners welcome. Low-medium intensity; 2 hours. This excursion costs $75 per person.

La Leona Waterfall: Hike and swim in one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica! You’ll experience the blue volcanic waters and scenic wildlife of the Costa Rican jungle. The drive is approximately 2-3 hours (one way). This excursion costs $150 per person.

Cacao Ceremony: Led by shaman Alejandro Quiros, the Cacao Ceremony is an ancient, heart-opening ritual rooted in thousands of years of indigenous tradition throughout the Americas. Revered as a sacred plant medicine, pure cacao is used to gently expand consciousness, dissolve emotional barriers, and invite deep inner connection. This ceremony is $80 per person.

Sweat Lodge: Also known as Temascal or Inipi, this is an ancient and pure medicine ceremony, a temple to honor the elements of earth, fire, water and air. An opportunity to experience a spiritual reunion with the creator and a respectful connection to the earth itself. The intention is to clean the mind, the body, and be in balance within. This ceremony is $80 per person.
